89 K5 Road test on youtube

6 year/ 6K mile rust through warranty?

Really? From 1989? well, that explains everything.

How cool, thanks for the posting.

hahahah, mine pulls to the right under braking.... even with all new brakes, including calipers! I thought it would go away with the rear disc swap, nope.

I think my dad paid $17K in 1988 for the new silverado 1500 Extended cab 2wd.

the pricing cracked me up, brand new fully loaded fullsize suv 4x4 for under $20k :eek1:

Great find! This old school marketing/testing is a lost art and is wonderful to watch. The "velour seat coverings help hold you in on those tight corners." :rotfl: Priceless!!

Well, since I had enough money in the 80's to pay for milk at school, I have no comparison. According to an inflation calculator, a $19K K5 in 1988 would be $34K in todays money. I would pay that if they started making them again. We can all dream no?
