89 K5 Shell painting

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use to paint the shell on my 89 K5? It is the stock top so I think it is a gel/fiberglass composite. I am having my blazer painted but the place does not want to paint the shell. They don’t have much experience doing them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought some rattle cans of cheap satin white from OSH when I painted my 81 shell. I had a 86 that was painted with gloss auto paint. Corvette's are fiberglass and they are sprayed with auto paint.

My K5 is black everywhere - when I just painted it I wanted contrast so I painted the bumpers and top in a semi-gloss industrial paint. It was easy to shoot and came out great! I left the texture on the top and prepped it for paint with scotchbrite and the reducer recommended by the paint (mineral spirits in this case).
