89 power steering bracket

Does anyone know where to get a power steering bracket for a 89 k5 with a tbi engine that has a serpantine belt. Something froze up on mine to night and it ripped the alt right off the truck

I've got the same setup as you. One of the bolt holes for the alt broke off so I had to replace it. Went to my local chevy dealer a few yrs ago and they actually had one in stock ... for $80 I took it, in more ways than one.

Thanks i will have to check tomarrow i thought it was kind of funny i just put new fenders and a hood on go to drive home and squeal bang it was all over atleast it got wedged up and didn't fall into the fan or anything.

junk yard would be a good place they used the same brackets in s-10's with a 4.3
