ok figured a way out, going to have to relocate the switches to a center mount, probably at the stock ash tray location. Might make it easier on me, instead of hearing "Mary's got her window down again, will you roll it up a little, she might bounce out", I can say "Do it your damn self, the switch is right there!"
Instead of running relays for the motors, I will run 'reversible switches' one switch will operate the motor in the down control and the up control and deliver full voltage to the motor. Cole Hersee part number 55046-bx just over $8.00 each, even cheaper then two relays and bases per each window for the front. Even better I can remove the factory switch location from the door and install in the factory ash tray location (I'll fabricate a handy dandy plate to hold the new switches). Biggest PITA will be rerouting the wiring under the dash, but all in all, that is also the largest failure of the components, is having the main switch bank in the door where the outside atmosphere can have easy access to it and degrade it ever so slightly untill one day the windows don't move like they use to.
Well got that spring project wrapped up as far as parts and figuring out the install issues, all that's left to do is the install itself, and I'll wait for spring time for that. next project '12 horsepower tig weldernator' this is one I've been looking forward to for awhile. The wife is going to love this one!!!
