89 Suburban DD Build (finally a 3/4ton)

man, I'm getting antsy...

I'm off all Christmas week, I'm snatching off the front clip on my burb, swapping out the motor & tranny...and drilling & mounting the front spring mounts. (it's currently 2wd)...gonna order some of these so they'll be here in time...:waytogo::waytogo::waytogo:

it will be running under it's own by new year's..well, running better...It does run now...kinda...sorta...technically:whistle::whistle:

sorry for the hijack...I've been accumulating parts since 07, and I'm tired of waiting!!

These build threads have pushed me over the edge....:haha::haha:

BTW, your truck is looking fine

This sucks...9 years later and my shit is still down.. Actually started thinking about throwing in the towel and selling them before they rot completely...

I Definitely know the feeling. I actually started a month ago making a craiglist ad to sell it before I got it running. Craigslist wanted 5 bucks to list a vehicle so I didn't submit :doah:

I enjoy the hell out of mine. The big ugly things suit me to a T. Maybe after this surgery heals I'll be able to wrench again.

Ouch that sucks. Even where I am at 3 years and part of that time sitting inside. I've found so much more to fix that wasn't bad before.
