Too good of a deal to pass up, or we shall see.... Just crawled around underneath and found it has the pass drop 241 mated to a slipping 700r4. Only one bad spot on the rear driver's quarter panel other than that it's straight. Thinking of selling the K5 and starting with this one instead. Figured if I'm swapping axles I might as well put them in a vehicle I'll actually use. (more room for the family & dogs)

Plans are extra mild vanilla:
2-4" lift
14 bolt ff rear / covert 10 bolt front to 8 lug.
nothing bigger than 35's, probably 33's
Rebuild trans
fix the a/c (has front & rear intact)
headliner replaced
etc etc.
Load dogs & go camping.

A/C is fixed. Picked a up a donor 2wd suburban to donate it's G80 3:73 14ff to the cause, along with odds and ends to sell/stash away.

Also need some help with this fan? It was bolted in front of the A/C condenser, is it part of the A/C unit or just an engine cooling fan? @Fastereddie

That's an aftermarket fan. Looks like a davies craig unit. Not required but won't hurt that's for sure. Burb looks nice btw.

Did you buy that 2wd burb from offroad exchange w no title? Dick... I messaged him about it and he didnt reply for two days...

Yeah I picked it up Saturday morning.

He said he has another 14 bolt ff for $200 but it was across town.

Lol. That's funny. Glad you got it. I dont need a 14, i was just gonna flip it.

Thanks, yeah the inside is almost perfect, ashtrays are even new. Thing was full of spiders.

Is that CB your dad's old bike? It's got some clean lines.

Yeah, dads old cb750. I back halved it into a hard tail. Pretty fun but I never ride it. Lol. I seem to enjoy building more than using...

If you where to buy my truck your Suburban could look like this...

Thank you Max, she's a great dog. I'm working on it 1-ton, gotta get the cash flowing.

nice purchases. It used to be to be exclusive you needed a Range Rover or Land Cruiser 55 or larger. Now, I rock my diesel Suburban and I'm usually about the only one.

They'll be up for sale when the time comes.
