I sold my 2004 suburban; this will be its replacement. It’s basically a bone stock 89 suburban. The engine is locked up in it. I have a vortec 7.4 at home I plan to swap it to a tbi intake and drop it in.
Sounds like a good plan! Looks like a 3/4?
Check and make sure the TBI will feed the Vortec block. Don't know about the 7.4, but the SBC's can require chips.

Time will tell. I have a stock vortec 7.4 I put a q-jet on off of a 350 and it seems fine. I’m hoping this is the same it will be running a 94 intake and injectors which require more fuel pressure than the 93 and older big block throttle body engines. I’m hoping I can just slap a higher psi pump in the tank and it will run OK. If not I will re-assess the situation.
