Hi there,
I just picked up this little beast, and this will be a long term build.
I and planning on cutting out all the cancer and replace with fresh panels. Right now I am trying to get my head wrapped around SBC with TBI, and this is all greek to me right now.
I am in the process of dropping the tank to check out the condion of the tank and fuel pump, as well as checking to see if there is any spark, the truck has not run in a few years, but it does turn over but will not fire even with gas being pored in the TBI.
The body will get pulled off and the frame will be getting cleaned up and painted.
my plans are to build a Arctic truck, and will be getting the wheels widened to 15" and run minimal lift with 46" to 52" Baja Claws, with fender flares.
I have the haynes manual, and it is basically useless, and I have signed up for Mithell1 and it helps a little, but I am looking for a more detailed service manual and I hope the Chevy one will be.
Can any one tell me how to use a boat fuel tank and remote fuel pump to take the stock one out of the picture to get this beast running. my Fuel guage is pointing the the right side at 3:00 position, and I am assuming the fuel guage and pump are toast.
