Ok im not sure if this question is in the correct place but i tried body shop and it wouldnt let me post. Anyway, i have an 86 blazer and i would like to put a stepside truck body on it. Will this work?

A blazer is roughly 10" shorter in wheelbase. The swap can be done but you'll have to shorten the bed and fab some body mounts.

OK thank you for the insight. I thought it was shorter i just didnt know for sure. I guess i have a lot of fab work to do.
search the word TRAZER its a truck mated to a blazer just what you wana do.
if me i would do it the easy way. front clip and cab bolt on other than making crossmember for rear cab mounts to sit on . but this is easy.
if you dont mind little work and have a lift installed in it then move the rear axle back 4" with 56" spring swap and install the springs backwards . this will get you a lot closer.

I dont mind doin some work since im gonna be doin a ground up build anyway plus it would look a lot better with a little bigger bed. So ill go with movin the axle back.
