Any time there was snow on the ground, I had my dually in 4hi and used OD all the time.

I guess thats a matter of preference. When it snowed and was bad enough for me to have to put my truck in 4wd, I never got it fast enough to even think about OD (of course, I just have the 465, so I never have OD ) I do tend to drive like an elderly man, too.
