I have a 1985 LIGHT DUTY TRUCK C-K-G-P SERIES SERVICE MANUAL .
I have had it for years but today I took a closer look at the rear axle section.
There is:
Chevrolet 8-1/2" and 9-1/2" Ring Gear
Chevrolet 9-1/2" Ring Gear - Full Floating ?????
Chevrolet 10-1/2 Ring Gear
Dana 10-1/2" Ring Gear
Dana 9-3/4" Ring Gear
Rockwell 12" Ring Gear
There are exploded view pictures of all above.
The picture of the 9-1/2" Full Floater shows a differential identical to the 9-1/2" Semi Floater,
but the hubs are fully floating.
Have you ever seen an axle like this?
