Have a chance to score a 454 complete for real cheap. I'm fixing to pull the 350 out of the blazer to re-seal it and might just go ahead and install the 454.

Now I'm gonna re seal the 454 also but it has 140k on it. Anything I should be concerned with? I really don't have the money to do a full rebuild right now I was just gonna clean it up paint it and rebuild the throttle body and run it for a long while until I can build it the way I want.

if its out i would do pan gasket/rear seal/and any other gaskets . plus timming chain kit thay are cheep.

otherwise drop it in and have fun. dont forget you need all bbc brackets and exaust. and if stick flywheel also for 454.

That's what I'm really liking about this motor, just had a new timing chain installed, has new starter and alternator. I am going to be the one pulling it out of the donor truck so it will come with everything.

Now the 454 is attached to a 350 trans cause when the original went out they had that lying around, my 350 is bolted to sm465. Will the flywheel off of my small block work for the 454?
