Did any K5's ever come factory with 3-1 springs on the rears?

3 leaves and 1 overload. Wondered if there was such a thing? If so, I'd be trying to look for a set and will post a WTB in the proper forum.

So lets hear if there were or weren't such a spring.

Never seen that few of leaves in a rear application.

I thought I read or saw somewhere on here many moons ago that someone had some so I'm trying to find a set for the front.

I'll check out my springs next time I'm down my dad's shop. I pulled them off a few years ago, but I don't remember how many leaves there are.

Ahhh...now that where I think I saw them on, 2wd trucks.

Think those would be pretty flexy on the fronts of K5's?

How about the 4-1 springs?

According to my info, GM has 4 maybe 5 different 4+1 springs. A pair from the rear of the blazer which should be a 1750 lbs. spring. They have worked for me.

There is another spring, 2100 lbs. From a GMC van. 52" long with a 24" front and a 28" rear. Wanted to try a set of them but haven't had a chance to find a set used.

What are the spring rates for '95 Z71 rear 64" springs that are 3-1? These are what I have for use on my frame. They're pretty soft standing on them so I'd like some 52's that are pretty comparable to get the front of the frame flexy, too.
