90 degree speedo cable adapter

My 75 K5 had a 90 degree speedo cable adapter when I took out the old powertrain (350/NP203).

My 5.3/4L60E/NP241 swap is mostly finished. With some adjusting of the cable routing, the speedo cable now reaches but needs that 90 degree adapter. The only problem is that the adapter seems to be missing a piece. It screws to the transfer case just fine, but there seems to be a key or male/male adapter missing that connects the rotating portion of the transfer case with the adapter. See attached pics.

any idea what this piece is, or where I can get it?

I'd have to look but I may have an adapter with the keyed drive shaft you need. Not sure i'd want to split it up though as then the adapter would be useless as is yours at the moment.

I have found a few of those boxes that got separated from the small driveshaft. I guess lots of people don't notice it on teardown. A source for replacments would save them. Hopefully someone has that info!

As far as I know this part is not available anywhere other than a junk yard. Send me $5 paypal and your address and i'll ship you this one as this is an extra that I forgot I had.
