Bit of a noob perspective, but after scoping the firewall from the engine side, didn't come away with any clear existing options. Everything looks pretty sealed up.

Thinking aftermarket tach, CB coax (and PA for fun), fog-light kinda thing. Certainly don't mind drilling, but even in that context, any particularly sweet spots?

Got my search on, but didn't come away with anything...

On my '91 k5 the PO punched a hole about 4-6 inches to the right from the fuse block, almost big enough to fit a golf ball through :doah:. At least its out of sight, and nothing spills into the cab. I have my dual CB coax running through it, all nice and tidy, out of the way of the pedals, dash wiring harness, plus plenty of room for anything else.

Have a friend here that took my old dually ('86) and rerouted all the under hood wiring up against the firewall to the inside of the cab, was some work, but after he did it, it was definitely a nice clean look.
