Ok i got a question for you guys that remove the tops on your 88-91 Blazers. The ones i've owned were a 77 and an 85

Anyways i went to look at this '90 blazer and was looking at the top and noticed the seatbelts were attached at the body and into the top. How would you remove the top other than taking the seatbelts loose at either end. Like where they are bolted to

It has me bumfuzzled.

BTW this thing has the ugliest mirrors. Never saw those before either

My '89 has nothing bolted to the fiberglass top. did the '90
have should-belt style seat belts in the rear??

p.s. be sure to unplug the wire for the rear dome lamp..

yeah i nkow about the rear dome lights. My other Blazers had that but the one i looked at had the belts boldted to the top for the shoulder style belts. Kinda weird cause why have it hard mounted on a removable top :dunno:

Dont know what to tell ya but my 91 is the same way. I undid the belts at the floor mount. in nc we dont have to be belted in the rear seat as long as your over 16. Sorry brother as far as not having an answere but i think the 90 and 91s were that way.

A friend used to have a '91. I think we unbolted them from the top and just left them that way. I think the lap portion was still able to be used, or we just didn't wear belts, I can't remember which.

Yup 90 and up have the shoulder belts. Pretty sure they are still functional without them.

It must have the power mirrors? If you don't like them there are lots of guys around here that will jump all over them.
