There is a possible trail ride next month up in new york and I'm thinking I'd like to take the burb but shes got street tires. A buddy has some really worn BFG MTs I was thinking maybe groove them a little but but i don't know.

if I didn't care about the burb I would weld it. I should weld the rear, won't get much traction with open diffs.

NNOOOOOOOOOOOOO traction. Been there and it just sucks hot air..........

Have fun though /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

90% worn tires aren't worth paying to mount.

I agree with that... what excally will you be doing and what kind of street tires are they? Might wanna just try using a little more throttle if its a matter of getting stuck /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

if you are good driver you could drive the street tires. Just air down to 15-20 psi, and use brakes to slow spinning tires. I actually took 4 bald 31's on a trail ride with lifted trucks and fared pretty well against the guys, of course it was easier trail but still challenging enough to need a rope tug once and rock stacking twice. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Well even though I would have phrased it differently but yes tires that worn prolly aren't worth payin to mount. For years I bought used tires for next to nuthin. Good luck to y'all and have fun on the run.
