91 7.4 liter miss/surge

I just picked up a 91 cc 7.4,4l80,205 dually. The guy had just put plugs,wires,cap rotor on it.The truck feels strong and runs fine to @65mph. After that it starts to surge/miss while cruiseing along.It kinda surges at idle too. The only thing I did today was changed the fuel filter today. Any suggestions as I have never had a factory tbi vehicle before?

It could be low fuel pressure, your symptoms match up...

Does it have an adjustable FPR? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? I'd spend a little time in the "injection section" forum and do some reading. There are some pretty smart guys that hand out in that forum, and I do recall a bit of a "how to" regarding the installation of a Fuel pressure gauge.

I went over to injection section,but yeah i pulled a o2 sensor and a water temp sensor. I have to get back on it next week just dont have the time right now. I did put a new distrubuter module in it though,no changr really.
