Hi folks,
I have searched all the posts and couild not find an answer to this issue.
Replacing the vent window rubber and have everything removed and now going to install the actual new rubber to the vent window, but to get the rubber on it looks like I have to remove the glass from the vent window frame, in 2 places where it is hard connected to the frame - 1 - down below where the spring is, so i can pull it up/out from the bottom and - 2 - the rivet on the outside which the window pivots on. The rivit would have to be drilled to slide the rubber over it and also to allow the window to be removed and slid up from the bottom.
Question - Is this correct?
Hopefully I'm just being stupid again as I would rather not drill out the rivot.!!
Thanks in advance!
Frank - btw the rubber was from LMC.
