I have rusted out 87 burb with all the goodies in and under it... so i bought another 91 burb from texas...long story short i want to build this one with all the goodies from the 87 but with out a computer and all the wiring that comes with it....so my question is will the stock electric pump work with a carp and if any one has any ides or thought on how to make stock electric pump work in this application....
Thanks in advance....

just need a fuel pressure regulator and hook it up to the feed / return lines . then set the psi you want and port the regulated line to the carb .

next wire the pump for key on AND crank position .

just that easy .

we always ask why ditch the tbi . its a good basic system ? and better offroad and fuel economy .

Well to be honest to answer "why ditch the TBI" i would have to say cause me and my buddy built the motor and at that time built it with all the emissions system still on it cause at the time i had to pass... and now i don't and have driven it that way and now i want to check out what this motor can do with out the computer bothering it... might put it back after if TBI is better....that being said i have read how alot of people like the TBI over carb...but we built it to have a no computer and carb set up so i just want to check it out
