So when I got my crew cab sight unseen I felt it was too rusted and decided to part it.
Once I was down to cab and frame I realized it wasn't that bad. The bad was the worst and I started to dream of what I could make out of it...
But all my ideas could work with the d44 front that I have but would be much better with a d60...
So I just stumbled on a good (not great) deal on a set of cucv axles so now I am more motivated so stay tuned...

So I like traveling and I want to build something that will take me anywhere and in comfort so an expedition style truck with a twist.
I am putting together everything I have in this...

So since the bed is pretty bad and I have the back half of a blazer, it would make it easy to put on my extra Chalet shell that I will be fitting with a custom interior I have been designing.
It will be powered by my Perkins T6.354 turbo diesel and backed by a dual sm465 and a 205 or a 241.
Still not decided on tire size between a 35", 37" or 38".
Winches front and rear both hidden.

I had another crew cab that I sold the cab off of and the frame is cleaner than the 91 but it has a crack on one side that I will need to repair, so I might be stretching or shortening as needed.
I was going with a 6 door but instead decided to do an extended cab 4 door.
I will be posting some sketches, as opposed to photo chops once I get home to a scanner.

Extended cab 4dr would be an improvement. I know there is limited legroom for the rear passengers in the boxy crewcabs. Looking forward to seeing your ideas.

Yeah I have the cure for the weak input on the rear trans : I have one from a c60 with a 1.5" input plus I am not planning on using low gear in the front. Just need one or two underdrives.
