Hello -

I recently noticed that my 91 GMC Jimmy leans slightly to the right side. At first I thought this may have been that I was not on level pavement, but after observing on multiple surfaces as well as other opinions, I am sure it leans more to one side. The offset seems to be about 1-1 3/4 inches. I measured from different areas a included from top of tire to molding, ground up to molding, ground to top of tire, ground to top of rear bumper, etc.. The truck has a relativity new suspension lift (4 inch - all springs) as well as new 15X 10 wheels and 35 inch tires (all less then year old). I bought the truck in January, after all the work was done. I didn't notice this issue at the time, but it really isn't noticeable unless your really looking at it. it is more noticeable looking at the rear. The truck has virtually is virtually rust free (a main reason for buying it). The cab mounts look great. Nothing looks out of ordinary from the suspension. The only thing I can see is possibly a upper or lower cushion core mount (up front) that may need replacing. I don't know what else it could be? Can anyone advise on what might cause a blazer/jimmy to lean to one side (1-2 inches). Could it be springs, shocks, other? .. these parts are less then year old. I believe it it is a Rough Country lift kit.

Thanks
RJB

Measure from the ground to the center of the shackle eye. If it's off, it has to be from the shackle down....or in other words, not in the body mounts. I'm guessing bad leaf springs, probably just like mine.

Mine has the same problem. I just went out and measured, and I think its the body bushings in the front on the drivers side

My blazer leans to the left rear, leaf springs have seen better days. Apparently some leafs are weaker than others:dunno: SUPERLIFT 4" rear no blocks,7 years of abuse not complaining they did the job.
