91 Jimmy A/C blows from top and bottom

Check your vacuum lines from the engine to the HVAC system. When you move the controls, do you hear hissing? If not, you've got no vacuum or maybe a broken line.

I hear no hissing...can you be a little more specific to the location of said vacuum lines?
When I bought this the guy said he just had it converted to R134 so they could have messed something up while working on it.

you guys wont believe this....but its blowing odd because its missing the damn duct that runs under the dash to the drivers left dash/door area....thats why it feels like its blowing by my legs and not much from the upper vents.....path of least resistance.

anyone have one for sale Im ready to paypal :D

If for nothing more than posterity or people who use the search function and come across this thread in the future the vaccum lines come out the back of the intake and go up to a vacuum check valve, and a t fitting, then one to the drivers side and another that splits off to the cruise control servo.

I replaced my hoses which were old and cracked and it fixed it -- now when i put the A/C on high it only comes out through the dash. Only cost me a few bucks at NAPA.
