the 91 is a 5 speed, only reason why i want it.

so what would i be in for? will be behind a turbo 6.2. can i use most of the parts from the 91?

thanks for the help

if 6 lug 2500 its not going to be nv4500 hd 5 speed. will be gearcrap light duty not worth swaping.

and the first few years had pass side low hanging hydro slave that will come vary close to pass side older truck frt axle shaft from tcase.

If you do find an NV4500, its almost too easy to swap in. I've got one behind my turbo 6.2L as well, and it was practically a bolt in swap. Only thing I've had issues with was the shifter boot hitting the transfer case shifter. The hydro clutch was easy too, just used a knockout punch set to put a hole in the firewall, slid the master into the hole, marked and drilled the two bolt holes, then drilled a new hole in the clutch pedal for the stud in the appropriate location. Gives me full throw of the clutch, and only very minimal movement on the firewall which will easily be fixed with a couple of support rods.

I used an external slave cylinder transmission, and was able to use the factory formed line for the 93 1 ton donor truck I used. Clearance between the driveshaft and clutch would be a problem on a truck that is used offroad, but with a 6" lift I have close to 4" of clearance between the driveshaft and the slave.
