91 K5 - Are there any aftermarket parts that should be made

an sm465 to np203 adapter
so that 4spd guys dont get raped when they want a doubler
I got lucky and found one cheap

what I really need right now is a part number listing for all tranfer case mounts from the very first blazer to 91

I need to get the numbers so I can order all these mounts up and reproduce them in polyurathane form

Got my 91 K5 back after 2 years - and man I need parts - BAD!!!!

I second the idea of a aluminum instrument panel/bezel for aftermarket gauges. Also a cutout to put the 4x4 (t case engaged light) light behind in the center would be sweet

Was that a speed bump? No, just a Rice Rocket </font color=red>

the problem with the custom guage panel is that not every body is going to want " Brand-X" or Brand-Z" gauges, and not everybody is going to want them in the same location or the same diameter

OK Bosco, I've got one. I've been thinking about for a long time. How about a retractible snatch/tow strap. The strap would permanently attached to the frame, with the "working" end access thru a fairlee in the bumper. I don't think a ratcheting mechanism could be built strong enough, but it would still work well even if went to full length before applying a load. It could be just the thing for yanking cars out of snowbanks and such. Always handy and quick (who wants to stand in the rain/sleet/snow/slush?). Keeps the mud/slop out of the interior. In use, would keep the slack up so the towee couldn't run over it. Would cost far less than a real winch. Universal: even Heeps, Hogdes, and Hords would want one!

I'll take my percentage when you're ready for full production;)

Hey Eric. Welcome to the best site for K's around. You'll find a LOT of usefull info from these guys on this board. This past weekend i just got done doing me lift/axle swap (haven't posted on what i did yet, no time...work sucks) but as i was dropping my transfer case, i noticed the mount was WOOPED! I need to find something that's going to take a little bit of hammering so if you come up with something strong, please let me know. I have only one picture of my truck [/b]PICS[/b]

Hey Eric, check your PM's, I sent you one about a 241C I got.

Why do people keep calling it a Bronco!!!!!

I've always wanted a brace for under the cab/firewall for support for when I chop the cab off my 89 to make it a full convertible. It would also go along good with that full cab roll cage.
