i have no high speed on my blower motor. ive replaced the blower motor itself and the blower motor resistor.. as far as i know, the only other thing could be the switch/climate controls.. any ideas? thanks!

I had to replace a pigtail once. The high setting on the switch got hot and ruined the switch.

out of 91 repair manual

the 91 model does not have a relay.

That looks like non-ac. I was looking in the 90 manual and it showed the relay. It's a high only deal, but it's tied into much of the wiring for the heater/ac.

Check the ac section of the manual. (Edit: It's shown on page 1B-23 of the 1991 RVGP manual available at the link in my signature)

Check the fuse coming off the power block located on the firewall just above the distributor. When my fuse blew, the High setting wouldn't do anything... and the AC compressor wouldn't switch on either.

The 3 lower speeds, run through the normally closed contacts, in the relay, to the blower motor. When high is engaged, the blower relay switches the power running from the fuse, on the firewall, direct to the blower motor. Could be the fuse, as suggested, above. or the high speed contacts, in the relay.

Oh man, I think I have this issue too. Thanks for the info, guys.

1975 Jimmy, that picture of such a clean engine bay makes me ashamed to open my hood!

Reminds me I still haven't even checked my A/C system (or the cruise, or the...you name it) on the vehicle I bought but if it's like everything else on the Blazer it'll be needing work too!

Thanks for the info guys!
