Nice work. Good to see it coming together and becoming resurrected. Keep at it :waytogo:

Side note:
It would be more reader-friendly if you could press 'enter' in between posting pictures, so the screen isn't so wide that we have to scroll over.

Truck is looking good. I wish my Tail pan looked half as good as yours. I opened the tailgate the other day and thought to myself that i better start focusing on the rust issue back there. It's definitely not going away.

Couple of questions:
What size tires do you have on there right now?
Staying with that size?
Did you have to do any trimming on the fenders?

Thanks! The tail pan is in pretty bad shape and will be replaced once I focus on the end of the k5.

The tires are 38"x12.50"x15". I could have run them with out cutting the fenders but if I had flexed at all or hit any big bumps they would have hit. So I did trim the front and rear fenders a fair amount. At this point I will be staying with that size tire. I would like to do maybe 37" with 18" rims down the road but not sure. But eventually I would like to go with heavier axles down the road. But everything for me is based on money and finding good deals. Thank you for replying and I hope I answered your questions, let me know if you have anymore.

Looking good. When you decide to update to the new wheel/tires let me know. I'll take those off your hands. I have been staring at my 87 for 2 weeks, and just can't get motivated for some reason. I've the interior all ripped apart in the garage trying to swap the color from red to black. Slow tedious work.

Thanks Craze! Not sure I will be updating anytime soon but if i do I will let you know. I know what you mean, I can't decide what color to do I want to do black as well but its so much to change the color. Have you posted any pictures?

I guess I should start taking some photos.... Seems like I get so caught up in the work that I forget to stop and snap a photo.

I'll try to shuffle the garage around some to make room to show off my work.

Yak

I know what you mean its hard to remember to snap photos. I am trying to do it so I can remember what I did down the road. I would love to to see what your rig looks like. I can never see enough K5's!..haha

I'm sooooo behind in the pic department. Spent most of this weekend on the beach with a beer in my hand. Very relaxing, but not very much work on the Blazer happened.

I dug up a thread I started a while back which shows the start of the project. Since a box of new dash parts showed up today, I'll snap some pics tomorrow before I start getting it all back together.
