How rare is a 91 w/a stick. I have never seen one until the other day. I am trying to close a deal on it. It has a 4/91 build date on.

Nowhere near as common as the automatic equipped k5's for sure, but I'm not surprised to see vinyl seats, and few options. That could most likely have been a government truck when new...and for those, having the 4 speed manual tranny was very common.

I did have a somewhat uncommon '81 Jimmy, fully optioned and a factory SM465. Had to be special order back in the day...no dealer in their right mind would ever spec one out like that.

I know they are few & far between, I was thinking a Gov truck also. The only options are AC, small H/L nose that I can tell. Optioned just the way I like them.

My current K5 is a '90 Blazer. Government truck too. Mine must have been a supervisor's rig or something though. It has AC, tilt/cruise/delay and a 700R4. Other than that it's a total bare bones rig.

MOst Government rigs were actually Auto's. The only ones that were generally sticks were Forest Service rigs.

Yup I have the same config in my '88 ex-Forest Svc. I actually prefer those barebones all plastic door panels.

My 88 with the 465 is bare bones also (and also my preference). No AC, manual windows, vinyl seats, vinyl flooring. Perfect for an off road rig imo. Jump on it!

I bought it, waiting to get it to the house. Thee clutch is smoked, at least the slave, looks like the P/O, started to take it apart. It is pretty rare to find one of these this solid in this area, 95% rust free.
