91 K5 Power Mirror Swap for Manuals

Hello, this is my first post, and I did try and search the forums regarding this issue, but didn't come up with any luck. I have a 91 K5 with the black plastic power mirrors that I just don't think are very appealing, and I would like to swap them out with a pair of the classic chrome mirrors like off of the 80s blazers. I have already acquired the chrome mirrors and when taking my old ones off I noticed that the mounting is much smaller on the newer power mirrors and was wondering if there is any way of swapping these mirrors out without having to change the doors. I have seen lots of 90s blazers with the chrome mirrors and can't imagine them all changing there doors but who knows. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Someone may very well know the answer but those mirrors are very uncimmen. Pics will help. I have never taken those mirrors off sinething. If I had they would be in my Jimmy and I would have an answer for ya

Mounts are the same, easy swap. Most people want the power ones you have. Make sure you carefully remove the harness also, so you can sell the entire power mirror "kit" here.

I'm sure that the mounts are not the same, it is a very big difference. The power mirrors have a smaller mounting surface than the chrome ones that I picked up.

The backing plate is larger on the chrome mirrors and the bolt pattern is different. The electrics mount higher and the chrome will not cover the holes. i used new doors for that reason.

You can see how they are higher in this larger picture of my Avatar. Also you will have black areas on your windows after you remove the electric mirrors, they are there so you don't see the back on the mountings.
