Guys

Purchased a K5 site unseen on Fleabay... I know big risk. Anyway the seller informed me the rear power window works "ok" as long as your don't run the glass all the way down into the tailgate. Rather leave it up about an inch or so and it goes up "ok".

Now if I recall correctly the M1009 (Mill Spec Blazer) the manual rear window did not go all the way into the tailgate, rather it stayed up about an inch or so. So it it possible some kind of stop is bad on the 91K5 I just bought and its over extending itself in the down position?

Thanks Guys!

They tipically stay up about 1/2" or so above the tailgate rubber piece. Inside, I think there is a stop at the bottom of the tailgate. It may be a rubber stop....don't recall though. Might just take it apart and take a look in there.

My '91 K5 would stop an inch or so from the top of the tailgate shell.
