This is a hard subject to search for. I changed my speedometer out with another and now my speed is accurate as hell at 70 but 5 high at an actual 45. It was the other way around before the swap. How do I get this right? I have 4.56 and 34s now. I'll have to change it again later for another regear. Might as well get good at it.
Thanks

I'd search if I could right now, try googling or ck5 search for drac calibration. You can add dip to that as well, as some use a dip switch to be able to easily make future calibration easier.

Ah drac was a term I wasn't using. Thanks for the tip. It seems the "dip switch mod" links are going to tbichips.com where it talked about soldering in bars. Does a dip switch get soldered in too? Caaauuuuuse I suck at solder.

Solder whether you use dips or just bridge the appropriate terminals for your specific combo.

You can install a dip switch, or the link bars. Not both. I've done it twice. Once on mine and once for Larry's 454SS clone. A solder sucker is worth it when removing the old links though.

I went the lazy route. I sent mine to @sweetk30 to get switches installed so that I didn't have to be concerned about getting the proper one.
It's been working fine and easy to adjust this way.
