Hello, our 91 Sub has 350,000 miles now. I had an issue with a rear axle bearing going out and water in the Diff. I fixed all that but there's still a whine while driving.

This thing eats brakes also, so I'm thinking of a 3/4 axle set up. Any help in deciding where to buy a rear axle, I can't set up the ring and pinion so? Thanks, we survived another 100 F day in the Texas Panhandle( swimming pool):D

I just found on Craigslist
Corp 14 rear & Dana 44 front- 8 lug, 4.10 gears set up $400 I would need new gears to stay with 3.73 gears, highway use only. Do the 3/4 ton axles have bigger brakes?

you lucky bitch ive been lookin for a deal like that forever. and more on topic i would think a 14 bolt would work fine do you do any extreme stuff or is it just a kind of around town rig?

Just an around town and some winter driving burb.

Should suit you`re needs. If it`s a full floater even better. The brakes are larger on the 3/4 tons, a rear disc swap is pretty easy on a FF. I`d swap my 3/4 ton 3.73`s for you`re 4.10`s, to bad we`re so far apart.
