91 TBI 350 Shuts down when hot but will start after cooling for a few minutes

After you get it hooked up and wired in, it would be interesting to crank the truck and disconnect the wire to the original pump to see if the engine can keep running on just the booster pump.

If it can't, you have not solved the problem........

I disconnected the OEM pump at the connector just forward of the tank on the driver's side from the harness and it stays running with the Airtex pump alone......

Essentially what I have now is the OEM pump in the tank, when it's working, ensuring that the pump along the frame rail doesn't have to work so hard to get the supply from the tank. If the frame rail pump quits working for any reason, it will be SOOOOO much nicer to get to now!
