I did a wiring modification to my 1991 V3500 front head lights so that all four lights come on. These lights from the factory are designed to only have the outer-lights, or inner-lights come on one at a time but not both.

Did this about 2 weeks ago, well worth the 5 minutes it takes to wire in

It took me about 2-hours. I may have done it a different way. I installed one of those old style floor mounted High/Low switches and electrical connector. Then I took the green wire that goes to the column mounted High/Low switch that powers the inside high beam lights, and ran it to the floor style switch. Next I tapped into the yellow wire that is the HOT wire for the column mounted High/Low switch, and ran it to the floor mounted switch for its Hot. This puts the inside and outside set of lights on their own separate High/Low switch circuit.

I had done this to my gmt400 truck about 15 years ago. It a neat little mod.

I have a set of sealed high beam lights on both my outside and inside lights. When somebody flashes me to turn off my high beams, I hit all four set of lights to let them know that this is my high beams. :D
