I guess these things are no longer available new?? I've looked everywhere. If I order them from a site, they return my money and tell me they can't even get them from the factory.
Does anyone here have a known good set of sensors they want to sell me to put on my 93 K1500 4WD IFS Blazer? I imagine they are the same on the K1500, 2500 and 3500s. These sensors are not a part of the unit bearing like the newer 95+ trucks have. They are bolted to the backing plate and get their signal off a tone ring on the CVs
The truck has no ABS lights on until I go faster than 15mph at which point the ABS light comes on steady. As soon as I slow down below 15mph the light goes off. There are no trouble codes in the ABS module so I can only assume a flakey ABS sensor that looks good for resistance but fails to read so the module kicks on a code when it starts to read the sensors at 15mph and above. Both sensors show a similar AC voltage when I turn the wheels by hand so I have no idea which one is bad. Taking the shotgun repair approach on this one.
