Ran into a 92 burb the seller has to sell by Monday. I'm going to see it tomorrow, the pic looks nice, asking $650

92 suburban needs transmission. have new transmission ready to go back in. just needs put back together. has approx 30k on 350 engine. new tranny has shift kit.

So,,How much should it cost to have the trans installed by a Mech

or

How difficult to DIY.

Need to know ASAP

not real difficult to do your self.. If you have the space and tools. just to reinstall shouldnt be mare than 500 max to have it done I wouldnt think

If you're the mechanically inclined these are about as easy as it gets for transmission R&R. If you can get a tranny jack and a helper, this is an easy day's project, a weekend if you really take your time.
