hi everyone!i just wanted to know if anyone has put a 92 cab onto a 85 or earlier frame,and if so what should i do to make it pass inspection i live in british columbia,canada thanks for anyones reply.

The older frame is wayyy narrower than the newer cab needs, you'll have to build your own bodymounts from scratch to make it happen. There is a guy named "speedphreak" on www.4wheeler.ca who did this using a mid 70s K5 frame and an 89 extended cab I gave him. Looked like a pretty indepth procedure to me!
