Have a complete 6.5 turbo diesel.. Motor has a cracked head.. Had motor running prior to pulling the heads.. This was from a 93 k3500.. Its the mechanical pump.. Also had the dual thermostat coolant crossover..

How much do you want for the whole thing? Are you looking to sell parts individually?

Any idea how many miles are on the engine? Did you pull it out of your own truck or some other rig? How far has it been disassembled?

Dont know on how many miles.. Pulled it out of truck.. Was going to use it for a buggy project.. Sold the buggy.. The heads are off.. basically a shortblock..

Yes still have the injection pump and lines.. Would like to sell complete motor to get it out my shed.. But Pm me an offer on the pump and lines..

Still have everything.. I have no idea even what the serp setup would even be worth

In my area, a running take-out 6.2 or 6.5 engine runs $200-$300.

Here is today's example:

So the engine with cracked head(s) is worth even less (not sure if things are different in your area). I have no current need for the lower end of the engine, so it really isn't worth much to me. I decided when I first read this that the whole engine would be worth $200 shipped. And I figured that probably wasn't worth your time once shipping entered the picture, so I never got around to sending you that PM. Since you haven't found anyone, I will extend the offer.

If you wanna do some disassembly work, I would give the same $200 shipped for the parts that I actually am interested in:
  • Turbine Setup (for swapping to a 6.2, so I'd need manifolds & accessories)
  • Serpentine Setup (also for swapping to a 6.2, so water pump, thermostat, etc. are different)
  • IP & injectors
The rest of the engine isn't worth my time right now. I am planning to visit central Missouri in the next few months, and I may be able to meet up with ya if you want to keep the shipping money. I'm also not offended if you find someone who is willing to outbid me.

I remember this thread. FWIW, the O.P. never got back to me, so I assumed he didn't like my offer. We still head down to central MO periodically, though...
