Well, I'm going to have to remember when I'm ordering parts that my block is a 96 . . .
The balancer for 94-up engines has a shorter hub than the 93-down. This is because the reluctor ring on the crank timing gear takes up a lot more of the crank snout. This is the only difference that I can find at this point. In other words, when running a 94-up block with a non-computer setup, you can use either the 93-down or 94-up parts as long as both the timing kit and the balancer "match". . . .
Any other part differences to be aware of when "customising" your engine?
