93 K1500 diff into 96 K1500

im thinking about buying another IFS 4x4. one of the first two mods i'll want to make is a regear, and a 14SF to match the 4L80E. the 10 bolt just wont cut it for what i want to use the truck for. i have a front diff from the 93 K1500 i got the frame for my 92 from. the truck i'm thinking about buying is a 96 K1500. should these diffs be interchangable?

as long as they are both 1/2 ton's, should bolt up no problemo.
