93 s15 Jimmy 4wd not working

Anybody no why 4wd doesn't work. It is push button. It doesn't do anyting unless it is revearse, and even then, it doesn't always go into 4wd. I have replaced transfer case switch, and checked the lines. Sometimes when I start it, you can hear a noise behind the switch.

does the tcase not go into gear or the frt axle doesnt go into gear ?
if the frt axle doesnt go into gear, check the vacume lines

night, I found hole in the line. Spliced it, and it worked after I started it. Started it an hour later, and it doesn't work???????????? It is doing the same same thing. I am going to check for another leak. If any other iedeas, let me know. Thanks again!!!
