have a 93 suburban, on cold starts it acts like the choke is on for 5-10 minutes, 1000-4000 rpm or so, reminds me of a closed choke on a carb engine, what do I check for ,,, thanks

Maybe a vacuum leak? Check the PCV hose connection on the bottom of the throttle body.
