I have a 94 chevy full size blazer with the 5.7. I desperatly need a drop pitman arm for it. It has been holding up this project for awhile now it is all i need to make it ready to go. Can not find one anywhere. Does anyone know where i can get one or i heard that some jeap drop arms willl work with my truck i am just unsure of what one. Any ideas guys? thanks

Ahhh the wonders of the internet.

Lol scratch that none of them are drops. I didnt even know that summit sold regular pitman arms.

Here the best thing to do. Call an advance auto tomorrow and ask what the part number the steering box is for your truck. its probably (dont hold me to this) the same as a 2wd 80's chevy box. If so just order a drop arm for hi-lift for an 80's chevy.

thanks for the tip i appreciate it. when i first saw the summit link without reading the rest i thought damn i feel like a moron if summit has it because i thought i had already exhausted that option.

You are never going to find a drop pitman arm for a 94 GM Truck. The IFS suspension uses stock pitman arm even with a lift kit. Unless you are doing a Solid Axle, in which case, you will have to use a drop arm, but for a truck that is still IFS, the stock arm is your only option.

What exactly are you doing? Is it an SAS deal?

Jeep pitman arms are easy to find in multiple drops and bolt right on but don't have a stud like a stock IFS pitman arm. I've never seen or heard of a drop stud type pitman arm.

Yes i am doing a soild axle swap. Right now the truck is driveable with some makeshift spacers i used just so i could test it and tool around the yard but it has some slight binding. I do not need the stud it will be getting removed and then have a weld in bung put in it anyways. i tried the advance auto parts route and they were useless info wise on trying to match up my truck with another. I did hear that jeep ones will fit how do i go about fidning out exactly which one? or is it basically trial and error.

try wfo concepts or ord. or offroad unlimited.

both wfo and ord sell the jeep arm to fit on reg saginaw type steering boxes.

oru does these type of sas all the time, so i am sure they would have a solution for you.

Use a Ford or Dodge pitman arm. SUP-1104 use to be the number, but might have changed. I've heard that a stock Dodge arm off 94-up will work, has a drop to it, but never really saw one nor looked for one.....

found one for ya www.offroaddirect.com has the drop pitman arm. $90

by the way ck5 has a section for ifs rigs that would help you out a lot. but i don't know if you can access it w/o the $25 membership.
