I am hoping to put a 94 Dodge D60 in my 84 GMC 3/4ton. I know that the springpads are a little narrow, and the pig is on the correct side, but is there anything else I should know? would this be kingpins or balljoints? any drawbacks to the balljoints I think it would be? Also refresh my memory about the ratio cutoff point, I have 4.88s.

94 will be a driverside drop and balljoints. pre 93 is passenver drop and kingpins. carrier break is 4.10 and 4.56.

Are the balljoints bad news? Just saw that you said its driver side drop, I didnt know that. is it worth much? Maybe for a newer solid axle swap???

I'm not sure, but I can easily change that withe the torch and welder, ?right?

way too much hassle imo. wrong side diff, coil sprung, balljoints, and no locking hubs with that cad system.

really, thats probably one of the furthest down the list of axles to try and use.
get an dodge dana 60 from a 1993 or older.

94+ Dodge front ends are driver's side drop and they use 32 spline shafts which are much closer to 10 bolt strength than they are to the more common 35 spline front D60.
