I wish you luck Z3 everyone we sold last year got warrantied. They all had problems reading cd's after a few months. I even gave one customer his money back after the 3rd time Clarion replaced it. After all the greif they caused me last year I stopped selling thier products all together.

It is a kick ass looking unit though.

90% of the time I'm on Sirius sat. radio anymore. I hope this headunit doesn't start having problems cause I really really really like it.

Good sirius should last forever on it. The only problem I had was cd reading errors, but it was with most of them. That could have fixed that issue if you have a newer production model.

The 945 is a 2005 modle, top of the line for a CD head unit. I'm sure the DVD head units are better, but the 945 is thier top CD head unit.

z3 I think you know me well enough to know I am going to poke you with a stick.... that is Clarion's top of the line unit, but not a top of the line cd head unit

My Eclipse would smoke it in every way except pretty pictures which yours has mine beat to death.

I think you'll like it though. I just can't sell a product that pisses off customers the way Clarion has for us. My town is too small for that.

And what are you doing driving some type of small GM car?

That's what I ment, Clarion's top of the line head unit. The car is my daily driver. It's a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero GLS coupe.

Get's decent gas milage, V6, leather, ...ect. Rides nice on those long road trips. I wanted a 2-door GM that is kind of sporty looking, so didn't have a lot of choices.
