Had one come into work today has been sitting and has heavy ammounts of rust. they were going to fix it up to sell, but the bill would be a few grand. i offered them 500 cash for it. they are going to get back to me monday. it has 117000 miles and a 14bolt FF. MY QUESTION is do you think it would be worth it to swap the engine into my 78 Blazer (350/sm465hydro/np205 448lug/14boltFF) or should i try and fix the truck at my cost and flip it? body is in good shape interior is mint. underside Very Rusty... also will i need a different flywheel or will the 350 one work? thanks

I vote for dropping the big block into the K5, then part out/scrap the rest of the Suburban. Should be able to get most of your money back.

Hehe try to sit on it until the value of the dollar falls and scrap goes up again. Its only 6 dollars to the hundred for cars I heard.

For $500 I'd swap it in and scrap the rest, and yeah, you need a BB flywheel.

454 TBI with 4L80E and all the wiring harnesses? Hell man, I've seen folks pay that much just for the entire wiring harness!
