95 burb..350 rod knock?

147K on the clock and this started to show a few weeks ago...on start up, after it has sat for more than 30 minutes, I have a knock from the bottom end, that goes away immediately as the oil pressure starts to show on the guage....I'm guessing a rod?

Is the pan easy to drop and check em out?
Yeah 4wd too.

I remember the front diff crossmember being in the way but it's been a number of years since I was under one.

looks like I'll need to jack the engine up, or remove the front diff...PITA
