95 S-10 Wiw

Found a 95 S-10 4x4 xtra-cab w/128K on it.

Thought I could run it for my service truck for a year then do an SAS to it.

Body is okay and interior/motor areas are all totally stock and still complete.

Is it worth a grand?

I did, I offered $800.00 cash and they said "no way"

I might play the waiting game, I'm the only offer to date and it's been sitting for sale for over a month now.

I bought my 96 GMC sonoma ext. cab 4x4 this past fall. It's stock and had 102,000 miles on it. I gave $3,800 for it. It was the cheapest and cleanest i could find at the time. I've seen a few cheaper since, but they where not local. So i'd say snag it while you can. I'm planning to do a SAS this summer. I'm going to try leaving the stock 4.3 motor and trans at first. But i have a D44 HP and D60 with 4.10 gears out of a 78 ford F250 to swap under it. I want to run 35's on it and still use it for work and mild trails. Sorry for the run on. Good luck Jason

as for the s10 for 1grand...i say snag it if it runs/drives good. are the tires in good shape???

I passed on the truck.

The firewall was starting to rust already.

Wish I had the extra cash to pick it up for the SAS I'm hoping to do in the future though.

Just keep an eye on it for a while. If it sits there long enough you might pick it up for alot less. Good luck. Jason

I know i can't wait to start my SAS. But I'm working on my 1970 mud truck project and have a long way to go.

truck should be gone monday, got half the cash already..., coming with a trailer and the rest monday...
