unpaid back DMV fee's Ca sucks! If you dont pay fees every year and do not have a non op then you are on the hook for every year not paid plas interestWtf???? Thats rediculous lol. Looks rust free in that pic. Whats a back fee?
What is a non-op? And how can they charge you fees for a vehicle that isnt used? What about a race car? Or a trail rig? What is their deffinition of what is or isn't a car?
if it never leaves your garage it doesnt matter. its a fee for it being on the road. once your caught on the road, then you owe.
So if I have a car, and decide I want to restore it, and I stop driving it, three years later when I'm done restoring it, when I go to register it I get hit with fees (plus interest) if I haven't paid the non-op fee?
if its current, you can pay the $15 non-op. which basically says your car will not be on the road for that year. (i believe its $15 per year to keep it active in the system).
if you just let your tags expire, you have to pay 3 years worth of the registration, any fees for those 3 years of lateness, plus interest on due money.
