The CD players and a lot of the lights are dead in the factory head units in our Suburban and Sierra. I'm wondering if anyone makes a good 1.5 din radio with bluetooth that looks decent. I've never been a fan of the install kits that are out there so I'd like to have a nice bolt in unit. I know 13 years ago, Jensen made a bolt in for them that I had put in my Cavalier that looked really good and fit great.

I've searched Pioneer, Alpine, and JVC's websites and cannot find anything but single and double din. Anyone have any suggestions?

You are pretty much out of luck for aftermarket. You can go back with a GM radio or go single DIN with a kit. I went with a Alpine Bluetooth and haven't looked back. Talk a little time with the install and it will look good. I tried it several times to get the depth exactly as I wanted it with the radio in the kit. Every radio will fit slightly differently for depth in the kit, so playing with it makes for the cleanest install.

Im having the same issue with my 00' k3500, most of the lights have died and the CD player works by luck. I have found that Dorman remanufactures the factory units with the addition of an auxilary jack... I think Rockauto has them for 145$ with a $111 core... If you dont mind the factory unit thats an option.

I'm fine with the factory stuff, even prefer them if they will last. I'll look into those. As I work on each for I was planning on upgrading the speakers as well. I'm pretty find of the Pioneer stuff so if I go aftermarket I guess I'll get one of their Bluetooth units from mall-mart.
